Dick Davison
(entrepreneur, consultant, and corporate

international connections include attending
the London School of Economics, working
for General Motors as a financial executive
in England, and business development
activities for a US public company with
multinational projects. He was CFO of
a company that created joint venture
small businesses in the Republic of
Georgia and one connected with small
business development in the Caucasus

Stella Derby,
MA
Stella
Derby is a strong supporter of endeavors
with children. She was educated at CCNY
and UCLA, and was co-founder of Pinewood
school, a private school in Los Altos,
California, where she was instrumental
in developing the phonetic, language-based
educational approach for which the school
is known. Derby is a past board member
of The Stanbridge Academy, a private
clinic school for children with verbal
and non-verbal language disorders. She
is a current board member of the Arbor
Bay School in Redwood City, California.
Marie
Fox Ellison, CRFE
Marie Fox
Ellison has served as Executive Director
of the Foothill-DeAnza Community College
Foundation since October 2004, managing
more than $20 million in assets and
responsible for raising private support
for two colleges serving nearly 45,000
students. Ellison has more than 20 years
of experience in the field of development,
including raising funds for medical
research and treatment at UCLA and Stanford
University School of Medicine. She has
also been Vice President for Development
at Interplast. Ellison is an active
volunteer with the National Center for
Equestrian Facilitated Therapy, an organization
that provides equine-assisted activity
and therapeutic recreational programs
for people with disabilities. Ellison
is a third-generation Californian and
a graduate of San Francisco State University.

Andrea
Jobe, MA, CCC, Co-Founder
Andi Jobe
has spent over 25 years in the design,
development and implementation of speech,
language, and learning remediation for
a wide variety of verbal and non-verbal
disabilities. Jobe has served as a research
assistant at Northwestern University,
staff pathologist at Stanford University
Speech and Language Clinics, and program
specialist in a Santa Clara County program
for language and learning impaired children.
She founded Language and Learning Associates,
a private clinic devoted to the treatment
of children with language and learning
deficits, and Stanbridge Academy, a
clinical, educational management facility
in San Mateo, California.
Jobe worked
with Interplast for over 20 years developing
speech and language programs for cleft
palate children. Her key areas of expertise
include visioning, diagnosis and remediation
of language and learning disabilities,
parent and family counseling, teaching,
and curriculum development.
Jobe received
her master's degree from Northwestern
University and holds a Certificate of
Clinical Competence from the American
Speech and Hearing Association.

Richard Jobe,
MD, FACS, Co-Founder
Dr. Richard
Jobe received his medical degree from
Stanford University, and he specialized
in plastic and reconstructive surgery
at the University of Pittsburgh. He
was Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery
at the Stanford Medical School, and
helped found the Stanford Cleft Palate
Clinic. Dr. Jobe maintained an active
private practice in Northern Santa Clara
County for 40 years.
Dr. Jobe
has been a twenty-five-year member of
the Interplast board of directors, and
he was president for two years. He has
led and participated in numerous surgical
trips around the world, including to
Mexico, Honduras, Colombia, Ecuador,
Peru, Fiji, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal,
Burma, Laos, Bostwana, Lesotho, Pakistan
and Tunisia.
Honors
include the Outstanding Achievement
in Medicine award given by the Santa
Clara County Medical Society, President
of the California Society of Plastic
Surgeons, and the Excellence in Teaching
Award given by the Plastic Surgery Department
of Stanford University.

Donald
Laub, MD, FACS
Over 30
years ago Dr. Donald Laub founded Interplast,
the first North American surgical mission
to help the needy and poor cleft palate
children of the world. Dr. Laub's academic
and professional experience include
being chief of plastic and reconstructive
surgery at Stanford University as well
as maintaining a successful private
practice in plastic and reconstructive
surgery. Dr. Laub has worked in countries
in South America, Asia, the Middle East,
and Europe. He is well published and
is a sought-after lecturer.

John
Ryan, MA
For the
past 20 years, John Ryan has explored
how technology and diverse media can
better manage the learning process for
individual students. Recently Ryan has
been evolving the functionality of SunTAN
as a learning management system for
Sun Microsystems. His current areas
of endeavor are focused on how web technologies
can be used to integrate knowledge,
management, competency, and performance
to better manage the learning lifecycle.
SunTAN allows the testing and validation
of educational technologies and methodologies.

Libby Wilson,
MD, FACS
Dr. Libby
Wilson is medical director of the Cleft
Palate Program at Los Angeles Orthopedic
Hospital. She is a highly skilled and
dedicated surgeon with significant expertise
in cleft palate. Dr. Wilson is a member
of many medical societies including
the America Nepal Medical Foundation,
the American Society of Maxillofacial
Surgery, and the American Academy of
Pediatrics (Plastic Surgery Section),
and she is past president of the ACP-CFA
(American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial
Association). Wilson is the co-founder
of Karing for Kids Program, which provides
cleft care in Nepalgunj, Nepal. She
has served as a surgical team member
on numerous Interplast trips, and has
worked with the Partners of the Americas
Yucatan Cleft program.
